What stops the spam
Several quiet checks work together, so no single trick gets a bot through. None of them asks your visitors to solve a puzzle.
- Slide to sendVisitors slide a button to send. Behind it is a one-use code issued by our server, so a bot can't skip the slider by posting the form directly.
- TimingOur server measures how long the form was open. Forms completed in a few seconds are rejected, because people can't type that fast.
- Hidden trap fieldA field that people never see. Bots that fill in every box give themselves away.
- Link rulesMessages stuffed with links, or with the link code spammers use, are rejected.
- Flood limitsOnly a few messages per connection in a short time, so one source can't bury you in enquiries.
